2 Rangers 6 Heroes
Hey,
My girlfriend and I are trying to come up with a general setup for our 2 Ranger mains along with six heroes. I have pretty much settled on one of us running [build name="SY Ranger" prof=R/W marksmanship=12 expertise=12][distracting shot][save yourselves][triple shot][dual shot][rapid fire][ebon battle standard of honor][infuriating heat][resurrection signet][/build].
As for 3 heroes I was thinking Sabway for 3 of them. And then Racthoh's Paragon builds along with another N/Rt healer (maybe 2 Discord N/Rt healers instead of 2 of Sab's N/Rt healers). I'm not sure what to do for our other ranger though. Any ideas?

Well, somewhere your going to want splinter weapon which will hopefully be casted on the save yourselves spamming ranger. As your own ranger broad head arrow will always prove valueable.
Only problem is always making sure that hexes and conditions are up for discord builds. Otherwise you could have problems without much other damage.
Most likely, you will end up with a build similar to the 6 hero discord. Pretty much you could take sabway and add discord as the elites and do the same just about. Just take a look into the 6 hero discord thread and mix and customize until you get what you want out of it.

I would suggest something like you have for one ranger and BHA/epidemic/Volley for the other. having interrupts on a player is always nice. Rac's team would be a good place to start, for the other three, I would suggest a Rit to use a 14 spec splinter, I really like this build for Xandra of Razzah:

make sure to bring a healer, you wont need more than 1 with SY up and the paragons. A N/Rt would work fine. For The third hero It would be great to have a MM for some extra protection, It would also be great to have another paragon to take advantage of that damage and adrenaline bonus from the orders, your call.
annnnd as for that first ranger build, I think Infuriating Heat is totally unessicary, I would try another elite. the new [Incendiary Arrows] or [Expert's Dexterity] would help you gain some adren and add some damage to your build at the same time.

The new godliness of Unyielding Aura is going to change the thinking of a lot of these builds being recommended.
Also.. be careful with rangers and nec healers that you don't have Splinter overwrite/be overwritten by the necro's weapon spells.

Agree. After having played around with it last night in Nahpui Quarter with a failPuG, UAura isn't worth a slot. Ressing someone by cancelling an enchantment was fun for the first 20 then it got old. Healer's Boon is far better if you need the ability for additional healing.
UAura certainly isn't "godly".

An elite res seems a little backward. Id rather use an elite to keep everyone else alive. Yes it can be useful if you're absolutely sure you're going to die, but if you're absolutely sure you're going to die then you're doing it wrong. :P
Back on topic:
For 2 rangers the absolute must is Splinter, get a rt or a N/Rt in there to stick it on you. Paras for defense sounds good. Might want to try Sabway or Discordway + Racs paras.
In this case discordway doesnt seem like the best choice as you need an enemy to hit in order to maintain SY!, discord kills singular targets way too fast to do that.

To the OP - I assume this is hardmode, in which case, a splinter barrage with a SY! ranger, minions, hexes, and a crap ton of Paragon buffs will win PvE.
You're fine.
One note - make your hero healers synergize - The D/N will not synergize well with the N/Rt, so go one or the other.
And both of you should have GDW to throw onto each other. Kind of like a 69.
